It's hard enough getting your kids to eat their veggies without having someone suggest adding the latest health food into their diet. But what if this one food means not having to worry your children miss out on those nutrients for proper health and development. Here's one 'super' food that's got you covered.

The hemp seed is:

Easily Digestible - The seeds are small and soft, which means no risk of choking or getting seeds stuck in teeth. The seeds break down in the mouth easily with gentle chewing and will fully break down in the stomach, causing no irritation to the digestive tract.

Source of Omega 3 - Trouble getting your child to suck the fish oil from the spoon or swallow those cute fishy gels? You may do your best to purchase top quality fresh fish to have for dinner but the problem is, there is no such thing as 'organic' fish.

Hemp is grown organically, non GMO and is a plant based source of Omega 3. Just one tablespoon of hemp daily will  meet a child's needs for Omega 3, so their growing brain gets fed the best quality nutrient for development and you can say goodbye to those nasty fish burps.

Rich in Essential Fatty Acids - Sure your kids love deep fried fish and chips, but fried foods are dangerous to health; can lead to weight gain, cholesterol problems, degenerative diseases and cause teenagers to have wonky hormonal issues often leading to years of pizza face acne.

Hemp is rich in EFA's (essential fatty acids), which must be consumed by diet and these fats are anti inflammatory which help keep your child's immune system strong and protect the cardiovascular system.

High in Protein - Kids grow fast and they need food to fuel their bodies during these growth spurts. If you wonder if they're getting enough protein to meet their needs, just two tablespoons of hemp seeds meets half the dietary recommended protein for children aged 4-8. It's a great plant based protein if they're vegetarian, vegan or simply don't like the texture of meat.

Abundant in Vitamins & Minerals - If you can't get your kids to swallow fish gels, it's unlikely they'll swallow a large multivitamin. Hemp seeds are naturally chewable and rich in zinc, iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, copper and vitamin E - nutrients, which are essential for healthy growth and development.

Hypoallergenic - Food allergies are common. There are very few foods that will cause no risk of allergenic response and are safe for anyone with food sensitivities, intollerances or severe allergies. Hemp is one of them! Plus, it's gluten free, dairy free, safe for children, infants, pregnant and breastfeeding women.

No longer the proverbial 'an apple a day'...instead try hemp with your kids and join the movement towards the 'super' cool foods. Naturally, it's an A+.
