COVID-19 - Coronavirus Update

 

To our valued customers, suppliers and friends.

 

With so many uncertainties in the world at the moment, we know you are all probably feeling very unsettled right now – so are we!

 

As we all navigate the challenges of COVID-19 together, we felt it was important to give you an update on what Hemp Foods Australia is doing as a business to protect our customers, and our team.

 

We feel very strongly that our customers should have access to our healthy hemp products during this time, as we know many of you rely on them to assist in maintaining your day to day health, and now more than ever, building and maintaining a strong and healthy immune system is vital!

 

We still plan to fulfill online, distributors and bulk orders as usual, while following the governments recommendations as they evolve.

 

Our production facilities are HACCP and BRC certified which means we already always work to very strict health, safety and hygiene standards.

Our Production area is also closed to the public so the opportunity of infection entering is extremely low.

 

With your safety in mind, we have additionally implemented the following protocols:

 

• Additional hand sanitizing stations 

• Social distancing – warehouse staff are working in separate offices and keeping a 1.5 meter distance between them whenever possible.

• Restricting and reducing access to the production and dispatch areas to only those essential to those tasks. 

• Extra training regarding hygiene practices for staff to implement at home when they leave work

 

In terms of orders and deliveries, we have plenty of stock and will continue to distribute around Australia.

 

We are also taking further precautions to protect our team 

As of next week our main office will be closed, and staff members who are able will be working from home so that business can continue and remain as normal as possible, while giving our team the safest option of social distancing themselves.

We will be focusing on keeping our factory running as normal for as long as we can.

 

As the situation evolves so may our plans, but we will keep you updated on any changes.

This is an unprecedented situation that we are all navigating for the first time, so we ask for your patience in any order or communication delays that may occur. 

 

We are all in this together, and in these uncertain times it’s so important to reach out and spread positivity as much as possible.
