Hemp Foods Australia in the Community

We exist to make a positive difference to people, communities and the planet and we’re big believers in thinking globally and acting locally.

We also believe everyone should have access to healthy, nutritious food. This is why we’re super proud to work with Liberation Larder - a local Northern Rivers not for profit organisation providing food for those in need from grown, rescued and donated produce.

The amazing volunteers create and cook healthy recipes which include our nutritious hemp seeds, donated monthly.

Liz Jackson is the chef at Liberation Larder and has been instrumental in creating the 25,000 meals served annually. Liz has been using our hemp seeds to boost the protein and Omega 3 content in the meals by simply sprinkling the seeds over the top. She has also used hemp seeds in snacks like chocolate brownies and biscuits.

Over the coming months, Hemp Foods Australia’s customer support whiz, Prana Arnold, will be volunteering her time and working with Liz to include more of our products including Hemp Seed Oil and Hemp flour into recipes. Watch this space!

Liberation Larder is a lifeline for many and we’re proud to be a part of our local community making a difference to the lives of others.
